It is amazing how many GREAT questions I keep getting in Live stream when I am doing them so I thought I would post a few of my favorites here. You all ask so many wonderful questions.

They are in no order, just how they were saved and came up in my notes I keep.

Q: What is the marker you use?
A: I am a copic user, I love my copic, and have many of the base colours, and want many more shades!

Q: Why Copic are they not expensive?
A: Yes, more so in Canada it seams, each marker costs an average of $8.00 to $10.00 dollars for me. So when I find them on sale at conventions I hop on them FAST! I can often find them available at conventions for about $3.00 so that cuts my cost greatly.
Other reasons I use Copic is because I often buy the refills as my colours run out. It allows me to use the same marker over and over again. I love how green they are for that respect.
They do not dry out as the caps are very tight, and even if they did dry out, refill for them is cheap for me as again I can buy it for $3.00 to $5.00 at conventions. I will often keep track of the colours I use most often and buy the refills at cons.
They also travel well via air, I have never had them have issues with air flight and often colour things while waiting for my flight to take off.

Q: How long does it take you to colour?
A: All depends on the piece. Often takes about half hour for a digital base colour, and hours for the highlights and shadows. All depends on the piece really.
For traditional colour any where from ten minutes again to hours! it is dependent on the piece. At conventions I tell people two hours for a pony sticker, that gives me enough time to draw, colour and cut while dealing with my customers.

Q: What is this song?
A: I get this on almost EVERY song. Chances are if your listening to my music with me, it is Power 97 FM Winnipeg, or it is my very large collection of music. But I see this ALL the time.

Q: What program are you using?
A: Photoshop 7, and Paint Tool Sai. I usually sketch in photoshop! Then I ink, and colour in Sai. I love Sai for line work and colours.

Q: Can you draw me?
A: YES! Please when I am working on art on Live Stream, ask! The most horrible thing I can say is NO!  I often take suggestions from my Live Stream when I am sketching. If I am working on ponies or a commission I will often tell you and not take suggestions.

Q: What paper do you use?
A: Sketching is just Computer Paper, I find that Computer Paper is cheap enough where for sketching I can sketch and toss if I don't like it.
When I do full pieces it all depends on what it is. I often will use a form of card stock, or specialty paper for my copic. I love doing artist cards now, they are quick and fun.

Q: Do you do Character designs?
A: Not usually. I like working with characters that are already developed. I hate being accused of making a design that looks like another persons design.
So no sorry.

Q: What hair do you use?
A: Oh I buy my hair from Dollyhair.com for my ponies. I love her product and it is a fair price. I strongly suggest her (if she is still in buisness) I am still using from my last 100 buck order.

Q: Do you ever clean your brush in your drink?
A: YES! All the freaking time. It is why I often will keep my soda, water, ect.... in bottles or cups that seal. And 90% of my product is non toxic, I think the only thing I work on that is toxic is the resin charms I dabble in.

Q: Can I draw your character?
A: always! Though please don't be like one guy who told me that I had to pay him for his sketch he did of my character when I didn't ask him to make it. lol.

Q: when do you live stream?
A: Right now it is random when I am working on things. When conventions start to wind down I want to do scheduled live streams. But at this time I don't have the time.

Q: How long have you been drawing?
A: Since I was about 8 years old. I started drawing disney characters and just continued on from there. I am always sketching on anything that is blank, heck I sketch where ever I can and on anything I can. I am not picky. So much of what I draw never gets scanned or shown off. I just have no place to set up a scanner for long term. just don't have enough space in the office anymore to keep it set up.
